Project scope
Each website package includes the pages, features, and setup described at the time of purchase or written approval. Additional pages, advanced integrations, custom copywriting, large content migrations, ecommerce, booking systems, or unusual technical work may require a separate estimate.
Cedarline Web may recommend changes to scope when a client goal requires more than the selected package reasonably includes.
Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate business details, logos, images, service information, legal requirements for their industry, access to existing accounts when needed, and timely feedback.
Delays in content, access, approvals, or payments may delay project timelines and launch dates.
Content, approvals, and revisions
Cedarline Web may use client-provided content, public business information, and reasonable placeholder copy during design. Clients are responsible for reviewing final content for accuracy before launch.
Package pricing includes reasonable revisions within the approved scope. Major direction changes, new functionality, or requests outside the approved scope may be billed separately.
Care plan and hosting
Care plans may include hosting, SSL/security setup, maintenance, updates, backups, support, form monitoring, and small content updates as described in the selected plan.
Domains should remain owned by the client. Cedarline Web may help connect or configure a domain, but clients should maintain control of their domain registrar account whenever possible.
Ownership and licensing
After required payments are complete, the client owns the final website content and design prepared specifically for the client, subject to third-party licenses, platform terms, fonts, stock assets, plugins, and tools used to operate the site.
Cedarline Web may retain rights to its general methods, templates, reusable code patterns, internal tools, and non-client-specific know-how.
Cancellation and handoff
Cancellation, refund, subscription, and handoff terms may depend on the accepted invoice, payment link, checkout terms, or written agreement. Work already completed, setup costs, and third-party fees may be non-refundable.
If a client leaves a Cedarline Web care plan, migration or handoff support may require a separate fee depending on the platform, scope, and timing.
